Kimberlee Shanaed Designs (formally Design Junkey Designs & Decor), located in Durham NC, specializes in affordable, trendy yet timeless interior projects in NC and across the US. In 2012, Kimberlee moved to Durham NC from Raleigh, where she had attended Meredith College for Interior Design and honed her skills while studying abroad throughout the country of Italy. The change prompted Kimberlee, w

ho then decided to explore design from all aspects, to fine-tune an ability working within a variety of interior styles and settings…from Italian Modern to Southern Traditional to spaces for children. Directly out of college, Kimberlee became one of the leading Design Specialists for the world-renowned brand Pottery Barn Kids. She has happily developed an accessible, signature style which combines functionality with a variety of timeless textures, patterns, lighting, with close attention to detail. Kimberlee’s belief in upcycling and attention to detail helps define her spaces and leave a design that can last for years to come.
