The Albemarle Campus Club is the recipient of a 2025 ENR MidAtlantic Regional Best Project Award!

The project serves as an invaluable community hub, providing youth and teen centers, classrooms, a culinary arts kitchen, a café/multi-purpose room, a STEM lab, an art studio, two gyms, a four-court squash center, two outdoor sports courts, athletic fields, and direct access to hiking trails.

The Albemarle Campus Club has received a 2024 AIA Central Virginia Award of Merit in Architecture!

Opened in April 2023, it serves 300 members—aged five to eighteen—every day. At 52,000 square feet, the facility is a fun, safe space and a second home for young people. The Club is designed to offer access to daylight and views in every direction, with the light and bright interior becoming a gallery animated by art and stories. Outside, the lines of the building gently echo and repeat the vertical lines of the trees in the adjacent woods. (Photos by )

Our Colonial Renovation & Modern Addition has received a 2024 AIA Central Virginia Award of Merit in Residential Design!

The project keeps a 1940 Colonial home front and center, while marrying it to a distinctly modern addition at the back of the lot. The addition – though stylistically different – is constructed of the same brick and white trim as the original house. Minimally detailed cabinetry, floor-to-ceiling windows, and views back to the 1940 structure all contribute to the design’s successful merging of old and new. (Photos by )
