I am pleased to rate Piedmont Painting and Finish (Piedmont) as a stellar, five-star company.
They have fully earned the honor.
I define business excellence in what I refer to as the "Four C's:"
Competence. Communication. Cost. Character.
Piedmont easily met all four prongs. Accordingly, my experience with this great company is best
described as EXCELLENT.
My home painting projects, located near Charlottesville, Virginia, came under the leadership of
the Project Manager -- Mr. Tobin McCrillis. Upon my first meeting with Mr. McCrillis, while I
was considering other painting professionals, I knew within five minutes that Piedmont would be
my company for all of my home painting needs. All other prospective companies were no longer
under consideration.
Mr. McCrillis exudes the confidence that his team knows fully what they are doing
(competence). He makes every reasonable effort to keep the customer/client fully apprised and
he is very responsive when asked any questions (communication). Every reasonable effort is
made by Piedmont to provide the highest quality service at a reasonable price (cost).
Very importantly, based on my initial and continued interactions with Mr. McCrillis and the
owner -- Mr. Charlie Davis, I knew that I could trust the integrity of this company. They keep
their promises and they are honest people (character).
Mr. Davis has done a commendable job of setting the highest standards of integrity,
professionalism and customer satisfaction throughout his company. Mr. McCrillis ensured that
his team lived up to those high standards from the beginning to the completion of the project.
I have never before experienced a company of any sort so devoted to professionalism as
Piedmont is. Under the overall leadership of Charlie Davis, and the project leadership of Tobin
McCrillis, this company is committed to getting the job done right the first time.
Therefore, appropriately on Thanksgiving Day, 2024, I do not hesitate to extend my highest

Great review from susan... "I had really good furniture, but it looked outdated. Piedmont paint and finish came to my house when they said they would. They kept my furniture for one week and returned it. They put on new handles and took off the old ones and did a wonderful job of painting. My furniture looks great! They were very careful when taking my furniture out and as well as when returning it to my home."

It’s not every day that we have to get the FAA involved for our painting projects, but it’s pretty cool when we do! And watching the sunrise from up there is pretty cool too!
