exposed well in a tile, looks like cousin It was living there. Well ran over, roots have been taking over for many years. Removed cap and photo with wires exposed shows what we saw. Pump was not easy to pull out even though only down 50', installing new pump was impossible with all the roots inside the well. Steve came up with a plan and was able to remove the roots and finally install the new pump. photo in comments shows just some of the clumps that came out of the well itself.

went to the post office today and was shocked to find out priority mail box that was $9.25 last month to ship is now $11. I copied this from their website:

The United States Postal Service (USPS) plans to increase Priority Mail prices by 5.5% from October 6, 2024 to January 19, 2025. This is a temporary increase to cover extra costs during the peak holiday season. The USPS expects to earn over $77 million in additional revenue from these changes.

I wonder if they are paying their employees the extra 5.5% they are charging us. Another fine example of a government run program that is not efficient because there are too many top dogs with a fat pay check and the employees doing all the work are being s**t upon

Hello, neighbors. My name is Steve Zeveska and I'm excited to announce my candidacy for Board of Health in Charlton, MA. I've been proud to call Charlton home since 1981, and I've been involved in our community ever since.

As the owner of Water Wells by Steve’s Repair since 1986, I've dedicated myself to ensuring access to clean, safe water for families throughout Charlton and the surrounding communities. From drilling and hydro-fracking wells to installing and repairing pump and tank systems, I understand the importance of safeguarding Charlton’s health and well-being.

I'm running as a write-in candidate, and I'm asking for your support on Saturday, May 4th. I’d appreciate a chance to represent you on the board and feel that my expertise in the well industry will allow me to help.
