Our harvest was much better in the herb department this year! Chickens have been a handful this summer and with a wedding coming up it’s been busy! Of course I wasn’t without a few friends coming by to say hello, spiders, toads and a stick bug that fooled me! Eggs currently $3 a dozen! We will have a drive by stand set up soon!

We are now offering farm fresh eggs for sale at just $4 a dozen! Also, you can have your favorite clothing repaired and sewn right here at the farm (inside of course). Who doesn’t want local farm amenities? Shoot me a message if you’re interested!

June 20th is “Little Birdie Day”. On June 20th of 2023 I witnessed animal abuse to the max. This little bird was kicked around in mud in front of me and I took her home. I thought we could save her but, instead, she would be the first bird I’d ever have to decide to put down. Little birdie was paralyzed, massively overweight and still peeping as a chick. I couldn’t help her, I wanted to so badly. I sat and cried over her and apologized for everyone’s actions until the animal control officer picked her up. Somewhere inside me I still say I could have saved her.. but this breed was designed to die, and live a short few weeks of its life in misery. I ask you all to think about buying unknown chicken before you order that sandwich, or buy that grocery store chicken, and google what a Cornish cross meat farm looks like. I’ll say it again, Edible Land Design Farm46 and many others raise bird’s right in thier backyard with love. Please consider paying more for a bird whose life was honored. Thanks

You guys might not know this but I have a TikTok. I talk about unsolved homicides. Molly Bish is a very serious and sensitive topic of mine. I’m holding an event and I hope you download TikTok to just come and help out. I use the platform to push important information out to the population about different unsolved crimes in hopes that the cases gain movement and gets more eyes on the cases.

Wild turkeys!

Its that time of year, it’s cold and hunting season is in swing. Sometimes the wild animals might take refuge in your yard, if so remember they are seeking safety and won’t hurt you if you stay at a safe distance! We can all share this planet together in harmony if we choose to see the beauty in one another. So, please see the beauty in this hairless headed creature and know they are just friends passing by! (Yes, they get a little closer to me than they should but I’ll take the risk 🥰)

We carved our first pumpkin here at the farm 🎃 And the chickens loved the scraps! We didn’t do the “let your chickens carve their own pumpkin” trend this year, but they sure enjoyed jack-o lanterns spooky guts! Baby Lacey took hers so fast she became a ghost in the photo 😂 Happy Halloween from our farm to your home!
