One of the greatest joys of being a small family-owned business is getting to know our customers and their families over the years. We've had the privilege of watching your children grow up—from 10-year-olds picking flower petals to young adults sharing news about the colleges they're heading off to. It truly is amazing to witness these milestones.

And then there's Ava — a local sports hero!

We first met Ava years ago when Mary and Norm brought her to Minnesota Gardens. From the very beginning, she radiated pure joy. Her enthusiasm for life and positive spirit have always been inspiring.

Over the years, we've watched Ava grow into an incredible young woman. Last year, she was selected to represent Minnesota at the Special Olympics USA Games, and now she has achieved something extraordinary.

Yesterday, Ava won the Gold Medal in the All-Around Gymnastics Competition!

Ava, we want you to know how proud we are of everything you've accomplished. Your hard work, dedication, and determination have paid off, and you continue to inspire everyone around you.

Congratulations on bringing home the gold! Keep reaching for your dreams and inspiring others along the way.

We have had allot of people come in looking for Cucumbers, we are out of the plants, most garden centers are, but it is not to late to plant from seed. These are your classic salad and sandwich cucumbers. They are long, smooth-skinned, and perfect for eating fresh. Look for varieties bred for cooler climates and quick growth.
• Marketmore 76: A reliable, disease-resistant classic that produces 8-9 inch fruits in about 65 days. A real workhorse in the garden.
• Straight Eight: An heirloom favorite known for its perfectly straight, flavorful cucumbers. It’s ready in about 60-65 days.
• Diva: This variety is a game-changer! It’s seedless, bitter-free, and matures in just 58 days. It’s also parthenocarpic, meaning it doesn’t need pollination to set fruit—great for less-than-ideal weather.
