The above duties are a baseline of what this job will entail. GMH Asphalt has been in business for over 40 years and has been quite successful. We have just under 50 employees and have been growing at a steady, sustainable pace in this thriving industry and looking to add an eager candidate to grow with us once a good understanding of the business and job duties is established. With the right candidate, this position has room for growth within our seasonal road construction company.

We are willing to spend the time to train the right candidate who is detailed orientated, self-lead daily work, dependable and takes pride in their work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20 per hour with benefits

COVID-19 considerations:
We have a small office with 4 full time employees (the remaining are field, seasonal employees) and no real direct contact with the direct public. We do not require masks or vaccines

We are seeking a paving foreman to join our team
- Previous paving foreman experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate

Duties include:
- Onsite daily management of paving crew and milling crew
- Measurement of accurate daily quantities
- Ordering Materials
- Meeting with onsite engineer representatives
-Previewing jobs for the upcoming days to help in scheduling
- Filling out time cards electronically (HeavyJob)
