Laura and Dan created Plant Keepers from a place of dreams and a desire for something different. The unexpected loss of their father brought their small family together in Chattanooga for the first time in many years. They survived, grieved, and struggled, but through it all they learned what they truly wanted: a change.
While they weren't sure if it was a good idea to turn a life-long passion into a business, they did know after their fathers passing they were not going to return to a 9-5 grind. With the support of their family and friends, they decided to create Plant Keepers in 2022.
The Hagler Siblings have always been close. Living together and working together through different chapters throughout their entire lives, starting a business together almost seems inevitable. Laura and Dan found they work best as two sides of the same coin, and they always have each other's back. Now 4 years later, Plant Keepers is blossoming. Most recently, PK grew into an actual office space (and we’ll tell you all about that soon!). Today, PK plant installations can be seen in multiple restaurants, professional offices and event spaces around the amazing city. So it is as friends, family, businesses and a community we can confidently say: let’s grow together, Chattanooga 💚
