Hey everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about the story behind South Valley Tree Care. I'm Richard, and along with our dedicated, hardworking crew, we're proud to serve homeowners and businesses throughout the Chattanooga area.
South Valley Tree Care is a locally owned and operated tree service company, proudly serving our community since 2023. You may have seen our trucks around town, spotted our hats or shirts, or maybe we've already had the opportunity to work on your property.

I was born and raised in the Chattanooga area and have been in the tree industry for more than 10 years. My passion for climbing actually began through rock climbing, which naturally led me into professional tree work. Before starting South Valley Tree Care, I worked as a contract climber for companies throughout Tennessee and across the country. Along the way, I developed a deep appreciation for the skill, precision, and responsibility that comes with safely caring for trees.

In 2024, after Hurricane Helene devastated parts of North Carolina, we had the opportunity to travel there and assist with the storm recovery efforts. That experience challenged our team, strengthened our capabilities, and accelerated the growth of South Valley Tree Care. It reinforced our commitment to providing safe, efficient, and dependable tree care when people need it most.
Today, we have the equipment, experience, and knowledge to safely handle projects of all sizes. With more than 30 years of combined industry experience, our team takes pride in providing quality workmanship, maintaining safe job sites, and treating every property with the care and respect it deserves.
