Congratulations
***** HAPPY 1 YEAR TO US! Meet the "NEW" OWNERS*****
1 Year ago today I made the decision to embark on a journey chasing my dream. Since I was 15 I knew I wanted a business of my own where I could connect with people, make people feel good and remind people why human connections are so important. In my case it happens through a product never the less the connection is made. There are big plans for The Local in the community to continue to build connections and be a piece of diversity in the city.
Family and Friends are my number one. They are the reason for living. It is based on our human connection that the love grows stronger. It is a continuos pursuit to find ways to connect with each other. I believe our reason for living is each other.
What a sad moment in life that we are currently living with this pandemic. For some of us our dreams might die or might have to take the sidelines for a while. But what if this is a great time to connect with your families? What a great time to love and support one another, what a great time to really think how fragile life is and how much we take for granted.
I will not quit chasing my dream regardless of what is going on because it took me a lot of tears, nights away from my family, rejection, so much work to get where I am and I cannot quit and I will not quit. If I do what will my daughters learn? What will my team learn? How will I create connections? How will I build community?
Hope fuels The Local and we will thrive together through this rough times. The Local will become a staple in Chattanooga. A place where everyone is welcome no matter your shape, color, size, no matter where you are from. The Local is a place where everyone is welcome and loved for being who you are!. Because we are all amazing.
Enjoy these times at home, tell your family how much you love them, connect with old friends tell them you love them and don't quit your dreams. This is a bump on the road!
