We are hatching out Barred Rock and Buff Orpington chicks this winter from our breeding groups. $5 ea straight run. Both breeds are very hardy, friendly, and are dual-purpose (egg + meat). The Orpingtons are slightly better winter-time layers and slightly bigger.
We'll have pullets this spring.

So a heat wave, then a multi day rainstorm. Folks, the chickens know to slow down in the wintertime when there is less traffic on the trail, but our flock knows it is August, so they are hard at work producing. We are thus a little overstocked, so we have a special rainy day deal. If you’ve never had farm fresh pasture raised heritage eggs because they cost a little bit more then today is a great day to try them out for less. Starting at $5 a dozen. At the intersection of hwy 603 and the Willapa Hills Trail.

Someday we'll learn how to take fancy product photos, but in real life, these look amazing– blues, greens, cream, white and shades of brown: a mix of eggs from our pasture-raised heritage chickens. $7/ dozen for medium sizes, and $10/dozen for large/jumbo. Quality you can see.

Our farmstand is at the intersection of Hwy 603 & Willapa Hills Trail, near 171 Hwy 603, Chehalis, WA 98532

With a name like s*xangulare, this little sedum knows how to get attention—but it’s really all about six-sided geometry. Tidy six-sided stems are packed with green foliage, topped in summer with sunny yellow blooms that practically glow.
It’s a rock garden favorite: drought-tolerant, winter-wary, and easy to care for. No drama, just good looks and dependable charm. If you're into low-maintenance plant relationships, this one’s a keeper.

The farm store is sold out, so we are hatching our own. Call us to schedule a time to pick up your baby chicks.

We are currently hatching a pure breed, "Barred Plymouth Rock," a heritage dual-purpose bird. These super-friendly, cold-weather-hardy birds produce 200-280 classic brown eggs annually. If you could bring only one kind of chicken on the Mayflower, these would be it. They are sold straight run, as it is too difficult to identify the s*x of the babies.
