thats the message behind this collection but its also the message behind ALL of my art. I'm endlessly wanting to make the world a brighter place.

and for another layer, my friend Dani says that goldfish go well with this theme because as Ted Lasso says, "be a goldfish." ...they have short memories and are forward-focused instead of dwelling on the past + things that can't change. I love that they showed up in my paintings and I had never even heard this.

if you wanna snag one of these lovelies, you should jump on my priority list--emails with a link for the password protected shop go out to the ladies on the list on May 28th and they'll get the first opportunity to shop the collection. otherwise everyone else can check out what's left on May 29.

comment LIST to get on the list.😘

oh you thought the vid was too long + came to the caption?

relatable 😉

my inspiration, as always, is to paint the world a brighter, lighter place. to bring joy, make you smile

and these paintings do just that but also symbolize finding the good in the midst of dark, hard things. I believe good things are always happening if we just look for them.

and actually, that outlook and the goldfish was inspired by my mom, who first had cancer at 35 (at the same time my brother had cancer!) and she eventually died from cancer at 55. but those 20 years inbetween were full of life + hope, despite her circumstances, despite that we all thought my brother would die (he didn't) and despite the knowledge that she was going to eventually miss out on all the things she really wanted to be present for. She still brought the hope.

so now we are all crying and I'm just gonna say these paintings will be available May 28 for email subscribers and may 29 for everyone else. Prints are coming soon but might be lost in the mail.

I started 2026 with several days of listening + planning

getting clear on what I really want + what I think will get me there

and then recognizing the discrepancy between the person I am (was, I guess) and the person I need to be to get that sh*t done
..and that discrepancy was basically a buncha mental drama

I think what has made the difference is that I check in almost every work day. what progress have I made? how am I feeling? what internal things need a little tune up? where am I headed next? what do I need to do/who do I need to be to get there?

Its so simple it shouldn't be revolutionary but it is.
anyway! figured I'd share that today in case it helps ❤

and don't miss the new art coming your way May 28 (for email subscribers) and May 29 for everyone else :) wanna shop early? get on the email list.

I am trying not to overthink that the prints still seem to be lost in transit 😬 so maybe there will be prints, maybe there won't be prints (yet) but there will be 10-12 paintings FOR SURE.
