Bruce and I (Your Double H Team) managed a getaway to Curacao this week. We relaxed, snorkeled, ate amazing food and watched incredible sunsets. We are recharged and ready to get back to serving our Hampton Roads community!

When he’s not working on pools, you’ll find him spending time with his five kids, playing pickleball, or staying involved in the local community.

We’ve been a little quiet on Facebook the last few months.
It’s not that we haven’t been busy making customers happy in their homes! We’ve been very busy.
But late last summer, Cindee (co-owner) lost her mom after being ill for a long time. It’s taken some time to process and get back on track for social media to keep you all updated.
While Bruce was supporting Cindee and her family, he was also working every day including weekends for our awesome customers! 2025 was a very busy, amazing year! We are excited to continue to serve our Hampton Roads community in 2026.
On a lighter note, a new Double H mascot joined family. Apparently , Bosco and Roxy needed help! 🤣
Introducing Josie (aka Baby Shark)! She joined our family on December 20th!

Over the weekend, I heard someone complain that Veteran’s Day should always fall on a Monday so that we can all have a three-day weekend. They might not have realized that Veteran’s Day is specifically observed on November 11th for a reason. Originally called Armistice Day, it was meant to not only commemorate the end of World War 1, but to memorialize the exact time the great guns all along the Western Front fell forever silent: It was at 11 am on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.

In a world that increasingly opts for convenience over meaning, I’m glad we haven’t moved this day for the sake of an extended weekend. Here’s wishing all veterans the honor and respect they are due…tomorrow, today and every day.

We don’t get a lot of down time but when we do, we work on our own projects. And Bruce LOVES projects!
🥰We needed a place for the griddle, grill and smoker. Then decided to add a bar for the pool. 🤩
The only thing not 100% done by us is the beautiful granite!
