When people see Thomas Easley’s paintings, they are immediately drawn to the rich hues, kinetic energy and the almost tactile nature of his art. The pigments are deep and luxurious, the paint sculpted on canvas to create a rush of color, texture and form that amplifies contrasts. The resultant artwork has a “presence”

filled with energy and movement that evokes a visceral connection with the viewer. But as much as Easley is an artist of color, texture and movement, he is also an artist of the mind. He has long held that man is multidimensional, and his art is an ongoing exploration of his own creative multi-self. That is a rare quality in the risk-averse world where sticking to “mastered” abilities is considered the safest route to success. Easley sees his art as an ongoing quest of creative experiment and expression. This diversity in styles and themes has been a running thread through his artistic journey, from the early manuscript illuminations and miniature paintings in the early 1980s to the dazzling architectural Venice landscapes, powerful “Dimensional Realism” and the more recent “extreme impressionism” that straddles the line between impressionism and abstract art. It is precisely this freedom from constraint that makes Easley’s art so powerful. Easley’s paintings have been widely exhibited in the U.S., Europe and Asia, both in art galleries and public spaces. His work is in hundreds of private and corporate collections across the world. He lives in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley with his wife and two sons.

I’ve been painting the female form for four decades.

This one — “Contemplating Angles” — is among my favorites in this impressionistic style.

The palette knife lets me play with the figure without overworking it.

Do you like her as much as I do?

I tend to paint roosters when I’m feeling a lot of energy.

There’s something about a rooster painting — the stance, the color, the attitude. They don’t sit still. They push forward.

With this colorful rooster, I wasn’t thinking too much. Just working with paint and letting the movement build. Layer by layer, the form starts to come alive.

I’ve always been drawn to bold, expressive paintings like this. They carry a kind of raw energy.

Some paintings demand to be in a room.

“One MooGee Hoga High On The Go” is one of them. 24x25, palette knife, full chroma. I built this rooster out of pure energy and color, layer by layer, until he had no choice but to come alive.

This is a limited edition embellished print. That means no two are exactly alike. I work on each one by hand after they are published.

DM for inquiries. 🐓🔥

A new sailboat commission just left the studio, headed to a client on the West Coast.

There’s something about painting these that never gets old — the lean of the mast, the tension in the sail, the moment just before the wind fully takes hold.

It’s always about movement and balance.

Grateful for the trust and excited for this one to settle into its new home.

The Bike Man, 40x30 inches.

From my Working World series.

A man pushing forward with the weight of his livelihood on his back. No drama. No spotlight. Just movement, effort, and endurance.

I’ve always been drawn to the quiet strength of people who keep going.

Friends, most of you know me as an artist, but today I want to share something that's been close to my heart for years.

My wife Hema and I have been working on 𝐌𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, a passion project designed to help single people find love in an increasingly lonely world. Did you know there are more single people today than ever before? That’s a staggering thought.

Why 𝐌𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲? Over the years, I’ve learned how powerful it is to truly understand who we are, deep down. Our personalities—our archetypes—can reveal so much about the way we approach life and love. I believe that when we understand our archetype, we unlock the door to meaningful, lasting relationships.

To kick things off, we’ve created the 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳. It’s a simple, fun tool to help you learn more about yourself. Think of it as the first step in a journey of self-discovery and, ultimately, finding the love you deserve. There’s much more to come, and I can’t wait to share this adventure with you.

Take the quiz, share your results on Facebook, and stay tuned for the next steps. Let’s bring a little more harmony into the world, one heart at a time. ❤️

What’s Your Love Style? Uncover Your Unique Romantic Archetype!
