Did a little experiment on our own home, a completely natural preservative for a weathered pressure treated deck surface, I must say it came out really well! It was Jerry's idea to make a mixture of equal parts turpentine boiled linseed oil and distilled white vinegar, mix well and put in garden sprayer and apply one coat and allow it to dry and then apply a second coat. The only slight downside is that it smells pretty strong with each coat for about a week, but once it's dry the wood becomes Supple and splinter free... the history of this product is from the early 1800s when they used to use this on ships that crossed the Atlantic Ocean. Works well!
