I've taken a day or so to sit with the experience of this project.
We learned several new things on this one. Turns out road closure permits (done properly) aren't much fun but once you know the process they really aren't that bad either.
A big thank you to Spivey Services for the assist with our MOT plan and compliance.
The tree removal itself:
Wow.
A century plus old American elm, which if you know anything about tree climbing you know the challenges that are specific to these, was being removed as part of a greater regrade and renovation effort on this tiny Church Hill property.
I lost many hours of sleep in the weeks leading up to this one wondering just how we were going to answer the call. It turns out I shouldn't have worried. The team didn't just rise to the occasion, they damn ascended.
Our client was very happy, and I was overjoyed with the product as much as the process.
