Today is Workers Memorial Day, and this year, we’re holding the line.

The Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association, co-hosted by the Wyoming State AFL-CIO, invites you to join us Tuesday, April 28 at 5:30 PM on the Wyoming State Capitol Steps for our annual Workers Memorial Day ceremony.

Together, we will honor the 37 Wyoming workers killed on the job in 2024 and remember Alex “Tuff” Harsha, lost in 2025. The evening will include a heartfelt tribute from his aunt, Jessica Isaacson, and a closing song dedicated to his daughter, Paisley.

For more than two decades, Wyoming has ranked among the worst states in the nation for workplace fatalities. These are not statistics—they are our neighbors, our family members, and our fellow Wyomingites.

WTLA had a great time hosting a lunch at the UW Law School yesterday focused on life after law school!

A big thank you to Jason Tangeman, Beth Lance, Michael Fitzgerald, and Devon Petersen for sharing their career journeys and offering insight into paths students may not have considered. We were thrilled to have over 50 law students join the conversation.
