Chicago Bloom® fam… 😩❄️
That last frost really came in like it had something personal against my Endless Summer hydrangeas. Tender new growth? Gone. Zapped overnight. Those beautiful fresh buds we’ve been waiting on… took a serious hit.
But you already know… we don’t panic, we plant forward. 🌱
Hydrangeas are resilient, and there’s still a good chance they’ll push new growth from lower nodes. Might just be a later, slightly lighter show this season.
Now I’m curious…

You think aphids are just tiny pests… but their life cycle is WILD 🤯🌿
Most of the year?
They don’t even need males.
Female aphids literally give birth to LIVE baby aphids…
that are already pregnant with MORE aphids inside them 😳
It’s like 3 generations happening at the same time.
That’s why you wake up one morning and suddenly your plant is COVERED.
And when things get crowded or stressed?
They grow wings and relocate 🪽
Nature said… multiply fast and adapt faster.
Now that you know this… you’ll never look at aphids the same again.
