I’ve been taking painting lessons at and we are currently working with gauche. Normally I’m a diehard fan of oils but I was surprised by how much I like working with gauche! It’s like the water-based version of oil paints, if that makes sense 😅.

My first art show was exhausting but truly amazing. Thank you .cast for accepting me into the Festival of Independent Artists, thank you to the friends who came to support me and sent me words of encouragement, to my parents for coming up. And most of all, thank you to for driving all weekend and always being my biggest supporter; I couldn’t do this without you ❤️. Congratulations to all the artists, there were so many beautiful pieces to see and the breadth of talent was inspiring! Sadly I didn’t get pictures of even half the show but I’ll just use the excuse of wanting to actually look at the art and not be on my phone 😅.
