It's Bradford Pear Pruning Season™. If you have a Bradford Pear (they are starting to look like this with white flowers, this time of year), the best way to prune them is to make a horizontal cut a few feet from the ground. Stick around for more Landscaping Tips!

All jokes aside, Bradford Pear is an invasive species and a true ecological nightmare. I always recommend clients remove them as soon as they are able to.
