Design is at its best when students, practitioners, and ideas come together.

It was an honor to spend an afternoon with the creative minds of Columbia College Chicago's INTA 100 Design Thinking students, exploring different corners of design together. Thank you to Dave Broz for shaping such a meaningful educational program, and to Insightful Collaborative Derek Jayson Rusch Ferdinand R. Dimailig AIA, IIDA, NCARB Anthony Alecseenko for creating a platform that connects practitioners with students to spark curiosity and foster learning opportunities.

A special thanks to Libby Gillen and Momentum Textiles & Wallcovering for hosting us in their beautifully curated showroom at the THE MART. Libby and I reflected on Bruce Mau's MC24, particularly the chapters Design Your Own Economy and Sketch Everybody / Let's Fail. Smita Sahoo āśaya I DESIGN also had the opportunity to share a real-world project that embodied some of these principles. We discussed how sketching—those fast, low-resolution ideas—can be one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to change the world.
