This was a very cool creative collaboration. We worked with Lonney White to make this sculptural idea come to life. The client wanted sculptures that had armatures, incorporated fabric (White used linen) and had a sense of flow and airiness while still utilizing the artist’s signature metal forms. After much design and drafting from each side, Lonney came up with these tall pieces and they are stunning. If you look closely you can see threads delicately holding the metal in place creating a beautiful tension and balance. These are now in their home in Miami.

Our client’s client had fallen in love with a piece at the Four Seasons in Chicago. Problem is, that piece was relocated to another property when the hotel renovated. We put our art sleuths on the case and after digging through files (thanks for granting permission, FS) and archives, we found the artist to be Katharina Chapuis, who has now become one of our most popular artists. This was our first project, for .krueger.design and the calming factor in this gorgeous space went up a notch!
