With Thanksgiving fast approaching, I'm thankful that I'll be spending this year at home and not in the hospital. And we had to hit up one last time before they close for the year. Today's flavor is cookies and cream, perfect for their turtle sundae.

Early to me! Woke up to see myself featured on the site talking about all the great tech you can check out from the library. They've got it all from hotspots to rokus to 360° cameras! Literally the best tech at your fingertips and all able to be checked out with your library card.

Libraries have been a part of my entire life. Starting with visits as a child to volunteering as a teen which lead to my very first job at 16 which lead to 12 years working in libraries. I LOVE how the library has evolved and grown since I was a child. A library is so much more than picking up that next bestseller and is a sterling example of how a great library makes their community vibrant.

I can't wait to see what they do with their new building 💖💖💖

Chicago Friday Night Flights continues tomorrow night at 31st Street Beach from 6-9 pm. While I can't promise they'll be using craft brews for chess pieces they do have all the brews.

South Side brews and amazing views are back for another beach party! Friday Night Flights is showcasing breweries from the South Loop, Bronzeville, Pilsen, Bridgeport, Pullman, and Beverly, while Pier 31 provides the music, food, and some of the best views of the city. When I think of police vehicles, I usually picture a sort of beat up sedan. Something that looks well traveled and deceptively fast. I always thought, that police had protection built standard into their vehicles. I have learned that improvements continue to be made. Ford does it differently by outfitting the 2020 Police Interceptor for officers. Not too dissimilar Ford's use of the empathy belly, but this time with survival even through chaos. While I adore all things sushi, I didn't grow up eating a lot of fish which is weird because I lived on the west coast twice for a collective 14 years. So when Australis The Better Fish Company reached out and asked if I was interested in trying Barramundi, I was on the fence. I'm super picky about fish, can't stand it if its not 24 hour fresh caught and abhor that fishy smell. [ 304 more words ]
