Today is the last day I’ll be operating my business full time. Many of you know that I entered electrical school last September with the intent of becoming an electrician.

During that time my eyes were opened to the different sectors of electrical work and the growth potentials they offered. I am happy to have discovered that the route I chose initially is not the best route, and as a result I adapted to what Ive chosen to do starting tomorrow.

I begin as an industrial electrical apprentice with one of the best companies in this region and in the nation. It will function as a traditional apprenticeship where I commit to 4 years of paid training and at the end of those years I will have the highly coveted title of “Journeymen” electrician.

I’m excited mostly to work on my craft and become a master at what I do, but also for the opportunity to provide for my family.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me. Thank you for the customers who supported my business. I hope I served you well. Thank you to the great people I’ve met in the trades. I’ve learned well from you and wouldn’t be this far without you.

Here’s to the next chapter of progress. See you at the top!

At first glance this looks like a picture of drywall in the bed of a truck. Although that’s a true and accurate statement it does not tell the whole story.

This is basement board. That’s important because it’s the right type of drywall for the situation. It’s important especially for contractors to go the extra mile and by materials for the specific job.

By getting the proper materials you not only do a better job but you also build trust with your customer and they can breathe easy knowing that they hired the right person.

Moral of the story: buy the right and best materials you can and do the best job you can. More times than not the job will turn out great and you’ll have happy customers.
