One of the biggest ways the enemy deceives God’s people is by blinding them to the spiritual warfare they are in. As Christians it’s vital we have wisdom and understanding to learn how to resist the devil’s tactics against us.

The enemy’s most dangerous schemes are subtle; they start with a tiny seed of doubt, whispered to sound like our own thoughts.

In John 8:44 the devil’s character is described as “He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.” We step into the devil’s trap by subconsciously agreeing with his lies. The result is that instead of faith we get bound to fear.

This post-it note has been sitting on my desk for a year and a half and and has carried me through some very challenging days. Sometimes we just need to be reminded that God"s got this-whatever "it" is in your life.

He never leaves us and He rewards those who diligently seek Him...

Keep praying
Keep believing
Never give up
Our Lord is the God of Suddenlies.
Nothing is too hard for Him
He hears your prayers and He wants the BEST for you!

Trust His process-He won't fail you

Thinking about Mother's Day coming up and how it can be a very painful day for many women. I wrote this blog post a few years ago and thought I'd share again.

If you're hurting this Mother's Day please know that you are not alone. 🌷🩷

Thank God for our mothers! Most of us love our momma's dearly, and celebrating them on Mother's Day is a joy.

I love this time of year, because it's a time of HOPE and FAITH. 🕊 I have a joyful anticipation in my spirit as I think of the greatest miracle ever- the Savior’s birth! I imagine how weary God’s people must’ve felt, waiting for so many years for the Messiah. Waiting is so so hard... And then, finally their prayers were answered and He was born! The light of the world! ✨

What are you waiting on the Lord for?

Whatever challenging circumstance you are facing today, I want to encourage you to believe God has your best in mind. Don’t give up because God isn’t answering in your way or your timing. Keep praying, and believing in a powerful and loving God. A dear friend and mentor once said, “often the miracle we are praying for is right around the corner when we give up, compromise, or quit.” ✨💖

I also love what pastor and author, Mark Batterson writes; “And His will is His glory. Sometimes He reveals His glory in a miracle and sometimes He has revealed his glory in suffering. Sometimes the ‘no’ is a ‘not yet.’” This makes me realize that when I’m seeking and waiting on the Lord for a shift in my circumstances, I can live in this tension because God is in control and anything is possible with God. 🕊

This Christmas may you allow the God of miracles awaken your heart to the power of His name, and may you wait with hope and expectancy for His best for you! 💕

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.

Do you believe that God hears you when you cry out to Him for help? It's hard when we don't see God and we can't feel His presence. The truth is He is always working on our behalf.

Walk by faith and wait patiently for Him to respond to your prayers. Have confidence like Micah and say, “as for me, I look to the Lord for His help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.” (Micah 7:7)

After 22 years of writing, revising and dreaming, Jesus (and the love, support and prayers of so many) helped me complete it. Oh how I praise Him. ‭🕊️🤍✨
