Good taste is knowing the rules. Great design is knowing when to ignore them.

A little unexpected. A little irreverent. All for our clients.

Living in a DMID-designed space is kinda chic ✨️

Another project. Another publication. And another reminder that timeless design always finds its audience.

We’re honored to see our Hidden Lakes residence featured in this beautiful new book. Our sincere thanks to Lucid Architecture for selecting the project for inclusion and to the incredible team of artisans and collaborators who helped bring it to life.

Industry recognition is always meaningful, but the greatest measure of success has never been a feature or an award.

It’s knowing this home continues to enrich the lives of the family who entrusted us with it.

Long after the photos are taken and the publications are printed, what matters most is that our clients walk through their front door and feel a sense of comfort, joy, and belonging every single day.

That’s the recognition we’ll always value most.

Collected. Curated. Edited.

Gallery walls like this don’t happen overnight. This is actually the third iteration and finally, the one that feels complete.

Unlike projects where we source everything together, this collection was built over years of travel and discovery. Pieces from the Paris flea markets, Istanbul vintage shops, Chicago’s Randolph Street Market, local art fairs, and favorite artists of mine all found their way here.

To create depth, I layered artwork with sculpture, vintage trunks, and collected objects. The wall sconce adds warmth, flexibility, and just the right glow.

The final touch? Swapping the white outlets for bronze (which happened after this install).

I’m happy to live with this wall forever. Also, said we are done. So that’s that.

The making of a moment ✨️

Behind every finished image is an intricate choreography of light, texture, proportion, and detail. A recent day on set capturing one of our latest projects—where every object, material, and perspective was considered with intention.

We can’t wait to share the finished project with you.

B U C K E T L I S T U P D A T E D

Must get onto this train in 2027. The Orient Express is getting a serious nip/tuck and I am all in! What a serendipitous happenstance that we stumbled onto this exhibit on our free day in Paris.

A combination of what luxury used to mean, art deco influences, and the ultimate hospitality experience hits all my buttons. I can tell you that this will be in mine and ’s future.

Next up on our travel recap - London!

From Destination London to factory tours with extraordinary makers, time exploring the Chelsea Design Centre, Pimlico Road, and a few antique markets. Days spent discovering craftsmanship, materials and pieces with real history behind them.

All part of the process - sourcing the unexpected so our interiors feel layered, collected, and entirely their own.

Back from Austin earlier this month and our Tuscan Tragedy’s transformation continues. Swipe for the before/during/after ➡️ because this glow-up would make even jealous.

Phase Two was all about reinventing the outdoor experience. We reimagined the entire landscape that slopes down to Lake Travis: a modern black-interior pool, sunken seating with a pergola and TV, oversized stone pavers, and a newly streamlined staircase that finally matches the sophistication of the home.

Client Priorities:
Modernize the exterior spaces, make them cohesive with the existing architecture, and—most importantly—create a pool area where family and friends can watch the game without missing a play.

Our Design Moves:
– Sleek black pool for that modern, moody elegance
– New TV wall + pergola for year-round outdoor living
– Sunken seating so sightlines to the TV stay wide open
– Large pavers with faux turf to nod to the home’s European influence
– Simplified balustrades and ironwork to clean up the staircase
– Crisp, modern furnishings planned to bring fresh energy to traditional bones

Next Up:
The strange second-floor “cupcake” rotunda. She’s about to go under the knife.
We’re imagining: removing the “skirt”, replacing the squatty columns with taller arches that echo the exterior, eliminating the unnecessary windows, adding a new metal roof, and possibly a groin vault inside—because drama belongs everywhere.

Stay tuned. She just keeps getting better and better.
