Ingredients

β€’ 1 medium sweet potato (shakarkandi)
β€’ 1 tbsp ghee or peanut oil
β€’ 1 tsp red chilli powder
β€’ 1 tsp cumin powder
β€’ 2 tbsp roasted peanuts
β€’ Tamarind-dates chutney
β€’ Yoghurt
β€’ Rock salt (sendha namak) to taste
β€’ Farali chivada (replacement for shev)
β€’ Black salt(optional)
β€’ Kiwi slices (optional or Any fruit slices ok)

Method

1. Wash and boil the sweet potato until soft.
2. Peel and cut into slices
3. Marinate sweet potato slices with- 1/2tsp red chilli powder n cumin powder, salt, black salt and oil. and keep aside for 10-15 minutes
4. Air fry at 200Β°C or 380 Β°F for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway. Or sweet potato slices until turn into crisp and golden in color.
5. Start serving in plate and layering - yoghurt, tamarind-dates chutney.
6. Sprinkle red chilli powder, cumin powder, black salt.
7. Add on top some roasted peanuts and farali chivada( fried potato julienne)
8. Garnish with kiwi slices or any fruits slices

Ingredients

β€’ 1/2 Chapati or Roti (Cut in to Squares)
β€’ 1/4 cup Besan (Gram Flour)
β€’ 1 tbsp Crushed roasted Peanut
β€’ 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
β€’ 1/2 tsp red Chilli Powder
β€’ Pinch Asafoetida
β€’ 2 Garlic cloves (chopped)
β€’ 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
β€’ 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
β€’ 2 tsp Oil
β€’ 5-6 Curry Leaf
β€’ Salt to Taste
β€’ Coriander leaf (garnish)
β€’ 1 & 1/4 cup Water

Method

1. In a Pan for tampering add Oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds.
2. Add garlic and roast it well.
3. Add curry leaf, Asafoetida, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, water.
4. Add chapati squares once water boils well.
5. Stir well and add besan and stir quickly to avoid lumps and mix it well.
6. Cover for 2/3 minutes to cook it well
7. Garnish with Coriander leaf and ghee. Serve hot with mint chutney or any pickle.

Ingredients

β€’ 5 cubes watermelon cubes (seedless)
β€’ 2-3 fresh mint leaves
β€’ 2-3 lemon fine slices
β€’ 1–2 tsp sugar or honey
β€’ Soda water or sparkling water
β€’ 5-6 Ice cubes
β€’ 1tsp Chaat Masala
β€’ Mint leaf to Garnish(optional)

Method

1. In a glass, muddle watermelon Cubes mint leaves and lemon slices gently.
2. Add sugar and stir well .
3. Rub lemon slice on Glass rim and gently roll it in chaat masala.
4. In a glass add some ice cubes and pour in fresh watermelon mixture.
5. Top with sparkling water.
6. Stir lightly and garnish with mint or lemon slices.

Ingredients

β€’ 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
β€’ 1 small onion, sliced
β€’ 3–4 garlic cloves
β€’ 1 tsp red chilie powder
β€’ 1 tbsp chana dal
β€’ 1 tsp urad dal
β€’ 1 tbsp oil
β€’ Few curry leaves
β€’ Salt to taste
β€’ 1tsp Cumin Seeds
β€’ 1/2 Cup water

For Tempering

β€’ 1 tsp oil
β€’ Β½ tsp mustard seeds
β€’ Β½ tsp urad dal
β€’ Pinch of hing (optional)

Method

1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds chana dal, urad dal, and curry leaf. Saute till golden.
2. Add onion and garlic. Cook until soft.
3. Add tomatoes and red chilli powder, salt. Cover it & Cook until tomatoes become mushy.
4. Add water to smoothen tomatoes skin even better.
5. Cool completely and blend into a smooth chutney. Add little water if needed.
6. Prepare tempering: heat oil, add mustard seeds, urad dal and hing. Pour over chutney.

Serve with hot dosa or idli, upma.
