I’m Back in Action!! It’s been a minute since my last update. Last year brought some unexpected challenges with the sudden loss of my father followed just two months later by my mother.

I am honored to have a remodel featured as this weeks ‘Houzz Bathroom of the Week’! This primary bath was transformed from it’s dated 1980’s look, with OH SO MANY GROUT LINES, into a spacious and bright spa-like retreat with a modern earthy vibe perfect for the retired homeowners. Is there anything more classic than a beautiful white kitchen? The glazed white subway tile, white shaker cabinets, counters in white quartz make up most of the space, but the variation in visual texture makes them shine. Sleek, updated matte black hardware and lighting add contrast and adorn the kitchen perfectly while the stainless appliances add another textural element. Personal accessories and decor give the space character. To unify the open space concept, the color white along with black accents found in the kitchen are carried into the Dining and Living Room.

Sometimes, my tile installers hate me, but then they make it look amazing! Check out the before and after of this bathroom remodel. The tile in the walk-in shower makes this room with a twist on a traditional herringbone pattern.

Soooo many gorgeous elements in this dual-island kitchen design and build project. Just talking islands, we love how they are treated so differently. Both custom built by Oak Ridge Cabinets , one is white oak with a Caesarstone US countertop and the other painted white with a Corian Design quartz countertop. One serves as the entertaining island, complete with bar stools from Pottery Barn, and the other supports the cooking zone with a range from Cafe Appliances. Completing the Modern Farmhouse look are matte black door and drawer pulls, glazed white subway tile from Bedrosians Tile and Stone, a porcelain farmhouse sink, and new lighting!
