❤️🤍💙 Patriotic Patchwork Scrunchies 💙🤍❤️

I just could not get this idea out of my head all week, so Friday I rummaged through my scraps for all the red, white and blue I could find and started cutting pieces. Then Saturday I sewed as many as I could. I LOVE them!! I got this batch made and have enough fabric for a small batch more.

Dusk on the homestead is one of my favorite times. The bats come out and the fireflies fill the woods with twinkling lights. All the flowers seem to glow and the greens look so deep. It's easy to overlook all the weeds and notice all the beauty instead. Thank you Lord for this sweet piece of paradise! 🏡👩‍🌾🌳🌻🐖🐓🦆

A small garden harvest inspired lunch today. 🧺🍽

An easy meal I want to repeat again! A chicken in the crock pot all morning, then a pot of rice made with the chicken broth/drippings, a jar of artichoke hearts, and a generous addition of cream cheese, sour cream, parmesan cheese, and heavy cream. Add in sautéed Swiss Chard, purple scallions, lemon thyme and parsley. 😋
