October 19 @ 6:00 pm to hear Jeff McCorkle and his band, Strings of Victory. They are celebrating their 20th anniversary. It's free, donations are accepted so don't forget your wallet.

Just got back from Newland and wow. I've seen lots of pictures and videos of the damage in the mountains but it give a whole new perspective in person. It will surely take months for just the power to be. Restored. Imagine no power, no phones or Internet for a couple of months. Keep these folks on your long term prayer list.

Well it's 5 in the morning and I haven't slept any tonight. Planning out 20 anniversary / 9/11 Ceremony for Saturday, September 14, 2024. Lots to do and little time to do it. Hope all that can will come out and help us honor our first responders and celebrate our 20th year in the old Patterson Elementary School. We have been working hard remodeling the place so please join us. Price of Freedom Museum Inc. 2420 Weaver Rd., China Grove, NC. Oh yeah, it's free! We are a 501c non profit so if you need some tax relief we can help. My friends list is pretty small as I have a very narrow definition of the word. Please share this post with your friends as well. Hey, I'm am excited about the changes we've made over the last few months at the Price of Freedom Museum. Come out this Saturday, June 8 9am-3pm to check it out. We have a new tribute to the Gulf War vets featuring 1st Sgt. Eddie Kluttz memorabilia collection.

Sunset from Mt. Jefferson Park...Sign says park closes at sunset...we will see..I ain't leaving till it goes behind the mountain. I'm at the sunset overlook...There is a sunrise overlook but, the park don't open till 8am

I haven't really mentioned my brother Dave had cancer for the last year or so but, just wanted to say he passed over to the other side this morning after watching Carolina beat Duke . He requested no funeral stuff. Maybe a celebration of Life later on. I know he is no longer suffering.
