Another one!?
This has been the summer of the decks for us. It's been a blast working with so many different styles of decks and this one was especially fun with the metal railing, cedar wrapped posts, and new long stairs built from scratch.
I believe we will get to add some new cedar to jazz up the rest of the old wood before too much longer and this place will really shine.

Here's another little project we worked on the last couple weeks..
Wish I had taken more pictures, it has a gate for the puppy's on the landing and is super sturdy. It will outlast the house next to it!
The ground was nothing but rock and we were able to dig below the frost line for our 12in piers and only used about 2/3 of the available joist span allowance by placing 2 triple 2x10 beams 8ft apart and 2ft in from the ends. It was a fun project that will last for years and years!
