This concept project is for an open space site lacking interest and use. The project's program proposes a subterranean building for a Café while using sustainable practices by orienting the building in a sense to gain solar heat during winter, and insulating the building during summer with a Green Roof. We have completed and submitted our design proposal to renovate a lawn gathering area, to drought tolerant California native gardens.

The design provides mix-use defined gathering areas, and improves the campus' circulation by providing a network of permeable pavers paths.
