Here’s a little project completed by Ardent Glass. A nice printed picture of the Cincinnati Skyline, sandwiched between two pieces of Plexiglass, with LED lights behind it, and a couple glass shelves that are supported from behind the plexiglass, but the arms go through the plexiglass.

Not a common project, but definitely worth the hard work and many hours invested into it.

We replaced the glass in this window because the previous glass was foggy. There’s a sealant that is injected around the perimeter of the glass. Well, over time, due to weather and sun, a void is made somewhere between one of the pane’s of glass and the sealant, allowing air to travel in and out. So when the air comes in, it brings moisture with it, causing the window to appear foggy. If it becomes too foggy, the amount of moisture will increase and can actually cause water damage in your walls! By repairing the window in this way, it is a fraction of the cost, compared to replacing with new frames and hardware!

The original window has a pattern called Florentine. Unfortunately, that pattern isn’t produced anymore.

We also replaced the ropes that are connected to weights, that are hidden behind each window jam. (the left and right sides of the frame)
