So our customers had a leak in their bathroom. We tore out the old tub and old tile, and walls, and tore up the subfloor, found the leak, fixed it, updated the plumbing, and put in new tub and surround. We skimmed the ceiling and dry walled it sanded it ready for paint, customers wanted to paint it. Another job down, another customer happy. Our customers porch had rotten wood all over her porch so she wanted us to tear out the bad wood, the railings, and put up new posts to hold up her porch and wanted a new clean look. So we got it all down and put in 3 new posts that look nice and are study and give her the clean look she was wanting. She wasn’t wanting new railings she wanted something cleaner looking. So our clients had a leaking tub. We tore out the old tub, and tile, found the leak, fixed it, put a new subfloor in, put in a new tub, brand new surround, and got it watertight along with upgrading their plumbing. They were wonderful clients and we were glad they were happy and satisfied. We also skimmed their ceiling, and got it ready to paint, as the leak went through to the living room ceiling. So we built these doors a few years ago for Rooster’s western hills. The 70 MPH wind gusts last week blew the door all the way around to the side of the building, and the stress caused the original frame weld to fail. And the door dropped to the ground where it is in the picture. It was able to be blown around because one of their crew members had left the door opened during their shift to save time when taking out the trash. We had to stand the door back up. Straiten out the existing frame as best as possible where it was bent.
Added new 1/8" thick steel on the top of the frame spanning both sides of the broken seam in the existing frame. Drill four 1/2" holes through new and existing steel. Then bolt together with new 1/2" bolts, locking washers, and locking nuts.
They didn't want to do alot with it as they are hoping to have a whole new container building in the near future!
