First project of the year in the books. I built custom cabinets/bookcase and u shape desk for this cute and cozy home office. I left the bookcase open so the beautiful wallpaper could be seen 😍

Blank space? No problem 😉. I recently did these builtins along with the shiplap and floating shelves. I used hickory for the mantle and floating shelves 😍. A frame TV will be going above the mantle. I love the contrast of the dark wood tones against the white.

Here is another project from last fall. Walk in pantry for the win! I built custom cabinets for dog food storage and shoe storage on the back wall. To the left I did adjustable shelving for small canned goods or smaller items. I also built a custom cabinet to house their water system. I used walnut butcher block countertops for prep space. To the right I did a custom cabinet cabinets to hold brooms, mops, a vacuum and other cleaning supplies. I did another adjustable shelving unit for dry/paper goods. I made custom shelves with the left over butcher block for a mail catch, keys and phones. Lower hooks were added for the doggies leashes 😀❤️🐶

Sometimes you gotta help a sister out. I loved transforming this space for my big sister .co Even when I travel home to Texas I can’t sit still. 😀. I painted the brick fireplace caviar by Sherwin Williams. I replaced the old mantle that was heavily layered with different trim. I did a simple mantle along with shelving. I used early American stain from Minwax. I then painted the rest of the room - along with all the trim and crown- Snowbound. We shopped her house for all of the decor. I hope you guys love the space ❤️.

Neat or on the rocks? I decided to do a cabinet makeover on my mini bar off the kitchen. I did a cerused technique on quarter-sawn white oak. I decided to play around with some design elements and did an oak trim inset for the shelving and the door. I did an inset door with a push button opening. The focus stays on the door without the added hardware. I also made the countertop from rough cut white oak and used a 1/4” round over bit for some detail. Scroll through to see the before... 😍

Seating for 2? No problem! I recently converted this unused dining room into a cool lounge room! I planked the wall using 1x6 white oak boards. I built the cabinets from quartersawn white oak. I also made custom shelves using the white oak. I used a black gel stain from for all of the wood. I also painted the remaining walls. The countertops are a matte black quartz from The furniture and rug is from Restoration Hardware. The light is from .
