Beehive blog:
2024 was a glorious yet wild and crazy year, especially the second half. This is why I am so late posting. Our first Upick lavender season was phenominal. We enjoyed seeing the fruits of our labor come to fruition. Lavender remains one of my all time favorites. I enjoy all varieties. Right after that, our flower crop set new records in production, quality and sales. The zinnias were simply amazing in size and color. The self serve ready made bouquets went like hot cakes. We also had an increase in photography sessions. We feel so blessed being a part of others lives.
On a huge surprise note, I have come out of retirement and went back into prison management. Given that, I am away often. I will not have the time to manage the farm. Therefore it is with a heavy heart we have decided to let the UPick portion go. We will pursue other avenues with our flower farming adventure. I have the memories engraved on my heart and trust God to guide us. For such a time as this.

What is the honey in this? One must never think God is finished and the adventures stop. He never lets gifts and talents go to waste.
1 Peter 5:10
"After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you
Esther 4:14
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
