This Memorial Day, WHS Homes and our family of brands, Timberpeg, Real Log Homes, American Post & Beam, and Davis Frame Company, pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

I was recently talking with an architect about their process when the conversation switched to hand sketching and how it’s the first part of his process; this is exactly the approach we take with clients at when they’re uncertain about the floor plan or what they would like their elevations to look like. It’s incredible to see Jim absorb the information from the clients, and turn their vision into their dream in sketch. From there we take those sketches to CAD drawings before finally turning them into the beautiful homes that have been synonymous with timber framing for over 50 years.
