Things have gotten quite busy lately. My original plan for this summer was to only book out about 2–3 days at a time so I could stay flexible and responsive.

However, with the big increase in requests, I’m currently booking out about 1–2 weeks even while sticking to small jobs under 2 hours.

My goal is to try and get caught up with as many of you as possible before our baby arrives in mid-July. I’m working hard to keep things moving, but I wanted to be upfront about the current wait times.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out for a small job, the sooner the better. I’ll continue doing my best to fit people in as quickly as I can.

Grateful for Another Busy Year! 🙏

Why it’s so hard to find someone to do small jobs 🤷‍♂️

If you’ve ever tried to get someone out for a small repair or install, you’ve probably run into this.

Most companies either:
Don’t want the job because it’s “too small”
Charge a high minimum or trip fee to make it worth their while
Tell you they’re booked out for weeks (or months)

From their side, it makes sense. When you have a crew, truck, and overhead, driving across town for a 1–2 hour job often isn’t worth it. So small jobs get pushed to the bottom of the list… or skipped entirely.

That’s exactly why I decided to build my business around only doing small jobs. I keep things simple — no big crew, no huge overhead, and I focus on the quick jobs that most companies don’t want. This lets me stay efficient, keep my schedule more open, and actually say yes to the smaller stuff.

If you’ve got something small that’s been sitting on your to-do list, I’m usually able to help much faster than the bigger companies.

I focus only on quick, straightforward jobs so I can get them done efficiently, stay organized, and help more of you without long wait times.

Starting in June, I’m trying something new to make scheduling even smoother and reduce drive time.

I’ll be running Zone Days:
Mondays & Thursdays → Clarence area
Tuesdays → Lancaster area
Wednesdays & Fridays → Mix of areas (flex)

This is a trial run to help me cluster jobs better while still staying flexible. If you have a small job and I’m already going to be in your area that day, it’s a great time to reach out — sometimes I’m able to get to it the same day.
