I was a little slow leading up to turkey day so Faye and I worked on my home in Clarkson. I recently moved back there, and to say it needed some TLC was a major understatement!!!
I had border in the hall and bathroom, so that’s had to go. We decided that both cabinets needed freshened up so I sanded and painted them. I also sanded and painted some on my cast iron tub.
Whatya think?

I recently moved back to my home in Clarkson. I hadn’t lived there for nearly seven yrs, except for a week or so here and there. Needless to say, it needed lots of TLC!!

With Fayerayedo’s help with the cleaning, organizing , and decorating (she’s the bomb at this, painting too), it’s slowly getting there. I had ugly old border in the hall and bathroom that definitely had to go.

I truly LOVE the finished look!!! Another fulfilling job finished, thanks sooo much Faye!!!!!!!

I finally got to do a job for the new sheriff and his wife,,,,jk, he’s the old one lol. They wanted me and Faye to paint an exercise room and their master bedroom.
I didn’t get any pics of the exercise room, sry. And let’s say the bedroom was an adventure. It had an accent wall with peel n stick wallpaper. This stuff is sposed to peel off easy with no damage to the wall.
The studs and insulation remained intact, fortunately lol. But most of the paint peeled off with it. When it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I had to almost skim coat the whole wall, and I’ve never told anyone that I was a professional drywall man. YIKES

Well it turned out pretty good, much to my disbelief lol. Whatya think?

I tell people you must have lots of patience to be a good painter. I ask them questions like, “Did you like working jigsaw puzzles when you were a kid”? Ima tell ya what! This job tested every bit of patience I had, it took 3 coats to make it look red.

This is a beautiful home I recently had the opportunity to put a little paint on it. Thanks to the ‘Lewis’ family’s patience with me being the lone painter and was going thru some major back issues.....

I only painted a couple ceilings, the McKinney’s had already sprayed the rest of them.

Here are some windows I worked on recently. I touched up on the caulking and put on two coats of oil base. The caulking needs a little more touching up but they look so much better. I did all 8 windows in a day and a half. If you have painting needs, PM me please. Thanks!

Some of my handy-work the last few days. The playset and the little well were over 15 yrs old and had never been painted. Plus the handrail was in need of some TLC.
