“In honor of the ones we lost, we plant hope for the ones still fighting.”
Grand Gardening started with my hands in the dirt, a love for creating something beautiful, and the belief that even the most overlooked spaces can bloom again with time, care, and patience. What started as planting flowers, cleaning up yards, and helping families love their homes again slowly grew into a purpose much bigger than landscaping.
In 2021, my life changed forever when I lost my brother to su***de.
There are moments in life that completely break you, moments you wish you could rewrite, moments that leave a space that nothing can ever fully replace. Losing someone you love in that way comes with a pain that is hard to put into words — the questions, the grief, and the reminder that so many people are fighting battles nobody else can see.
After losing my brother, the meaning of “growth” became different to me.
Gardening became more than flowers and mulch. It became a reminder that even after the hardest seasons, life can still grow. A garden doesn’t bloom overnight. It takes patience. It takes care. It takes showing up — even when you can’t see the progress yet.
And sometimes, people need that same reminder. 🤍
Thus began our journey at the end of 2021
My dream for Grand Gardening is not only to create beautiful landscapes, but to create a business with a purpose. I want to grow toward partnering with and supporting su***de awareness and prevention — helping bring light, conversations, resources, and hope to families who have been affected like mine has.
I want my brother’s story to continue in a way that helps someone else.
Every flower planted, every yard transformed, every person who supports my small business is helping me build something bigger — something rooted in kindness, compassion, and the belief that no one should ever feel like they are fighting alone.
To anyone struggling:
Your story is not finished.
Your season can change.
You are loved more than you know. 🌱
Thank you to everyone who has supported Grand Gardening from the beginning. You haven’t just supported a landscaping company — you’ve supported a dream, a family, and now a mission very close to my heart.
Here’s to growing something beautiful. 🤍🌿
