One of our projects this week in the Clarksville area was taking this deck from “it needs help” to “ready for hosting.”

We demo’d the old structure, carefully removing the damaged boards that had served their time. Building a deck isn’t just about the lumber, it’s about creating a space where memories happen. We rebuilt this one that was unsafe to walk on to now it’s sturdy and solid.

This started as a simple flooring project for a customer here in the Clarksville area. Once we pulled out the old flooring, we saw the real story…

Years of standing water in the crawlspace had rotted many of the floor joists and subfloor throughout the home. What the customer thought would be a quick flooring install turned into a major renovation.

We never just cover up the damage: we fix the source of the problem. Our team remediated the crawlspace, installed a sump pump, and put down a proper v***r barrier to keep it dry. Then we replaced the rotted joists and subflooring. Only then was the home ready for the new floor.

A "soft spot" in your floor is usually just the tip of the iceberg. Glad we could get this home back on solid ground. 🏠⚒️
