Gayla A Boelens at The Wooden Needle asked me to make two spool (bobbin?) lazy susans (she has two different sizes). This is what we came up with. If you look closely you can see that originally they had more dowels sticking up. They were also taller originally. We modified the design a couple of times to get it right. If I make them again, I have a much better idea of how much room to leave for fingers, how tall to make the dowels before there are too many stacked on it etc. It's was a fun project though. I like the kind where I solve problems.
