UP & BACC Farm is a small scale farm providing high quality meat, vegetables and herbs to the local Clarksville, Tennessee and surrounding communities. We complete this through the ethical and environmental actions that will foster positive stewardship on our land, the animals on it, products produced on it which will ultimately improve the health and wellness of the individuals consuming our pro

ducts. Our business started with the simple phrase; How do we make the land work for us rather than us just sitting on the land. This phrase was presented about 3 years ago in a simple conversation about the future. In June, 2024 Daniele was at a local farm talking to another farmer about how they got started. Since then it has been a journey of discovery and learning. Since June, 2024 we have been connected with the Montgomery county water and conservation department which led us to the UT extension which set us up with a local mentor and we continue to grow and expand. The greatest treasure we have experienced to this point has been the warmth and sincerity that we have encountered through many of the fellow ranchers/farmers and organizations has been their willingness to help. Our greatest challenge has been finding the organizations to get in touch with and navigating the constant barrage of government bureaucracy.

Honey processing day! All the bee stings and sweat was worth it to have this amazing gift!

Processing honey is a joy! Delicious, sticky but worth every second. Almost two gallons worth of honey processed and ready for consumption. It is was worth all the sweat, bee stings and hours to get us to this point.

Spinning frames for honey! Honey bees are amazing! I implore to all that will listen please stop spraying your yards with pesticides. You are killing these beautiful creates that spend their lives working for you. Enjoy your food savor life! Let the bugs be!

Recreational hazard of having bees! Not the first time I have been stung in the face but the worst swelling I have had. Will it be worth it for our own honey. Yes it will!!!

Cow wrangler has been added to the list of skills I can add to the resume. We have no idea how they got out as we are always diligent about closing and chaining our gates. Was it an accident or did someone do it deliberately. We will never know but precautions have been taken.

Someone got a new toy for the farm! I am headed to Mexico next week to sell my left kidney to help pay it off!!!

We are traveling this week to celebrate the wedding of our sweet friends Kait and Zach. I have never had the chance to travel Arkansas or Oklahoma. The Midwest sure does make some beautiful sunset.
