Our Story
Common Grounds was started by Zip Code Connection, St. Paul United Methodist Church, Health4U, and The Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Office. The garden is open to everyone in Clarksville TX. We have raised beds that you can use as your own personal garden. We will be teaching gardening classes, cooking classes, and other workshops around the topic of healthy lifestyles. The mission of Common Ground Clarksville Community Garden is to build a sense of community and pride for all people in Clarksville by offering a place to grow good food, great friendships, and a better understanding of God’s creation.
We are now taking applications for the 2019 Spring Gardens. If you would like an application to have a Garden Bed, please contact Catana Yarnell @ The HUB Community Center.
