My secret to getting my cactus 🌵 to bloom in 6B WV. A long dry winter dormancy and as much natural light as possible. Small amounts of water in the spring until I start seeing new growth then weekly waterings or as needed. Let dry out completely between waterings to avoid rot.

18 Bromelaids came it. They can grow terrestrially, on rocks, or as epiphytes on other plants and trees. They hold water in the center (urn, well) and absorb moisture from their leaves. Can wait until they get settled in and start showing their colors.
