A little behind the scenes of what “home management” can look like. ♡

Sometimes it’s the big projects. Sometimes it’s laundry, putting things back where they belong, restocking the things you’re almost out of, or finally taking care of that random task that’s been sitting on your list for three weeks.

Nothing particularly glamorous. Just a home that feels a little easier to live in when we leave than it did when we arrived. 🤎

Between two of our clients moving within a week of each other, we’ve carried, unpacked, broken down, and hauled away at least 70 cardboard boxes. 📦

Who needs a gym membership when you work in household management? 😂💪🏼

From unpacking the boxes to finding a home for everything inside them, we’re here to make moving feel a whole lot less overwhelming. ♡

Our client asked us to find someone to take care of a few areas that needed fresh paint, so we coordinated with Kennedy Painting to get it handled. From finding the right professional to scheduling and coordinating the project, it was one less thing our client had to manage herself. 🤎

And the finished work was SO seamless that I bet you can’t even tell which walls were freshly painted and which ones weren’t. 👀

I started Home by Hart because I genuinely love making life feel a little easier, calmer, and more put together. What began with housekeeping has grown into so much more. A recent closet project reminded us that household management is about so much more than organizing. We brought in a professional color analyst to help our client discover the colors that naturally complement her. Together, we also talked through her personal style, the silhouettes she feels most confident in, and the fabrics that best fit her lifestyle.

THEN we started organizing.

With a clear vision for her wardrobe, we sorted through every piece, removing clothing she hadn't worn in years or items that simply no longer reflected who she is today. After one final review, several bags of clothing were donated so they could be loved by someone else.

Projects like this are why we love household management.

Sometimes we're organizing closets or pantries. Other times we're coordinating trusted professionals, managing projects, and bringing together the right people to help our clients feel more confident and make everyday life easier.

Now, every morning, she opens her closet knowing that every piece inside fits well, reflects her personal style, and is something she genuinely enjoys wearing.

That's the goal...not perfection, but creating a home and a life that feel simpler, lighter, and more intentional.
