Welcome to Swift Creek Nursery a family owned business in operation since 1978. Here at Swift Creek, we grow a wide variety of woody ornamentals in sizes from 1 gallon to 25 gallons. Currently we have 25 acres in production, including our pot-in-pot growing area. At Swift Creek Nursery we strive to grow high quality material and are constantly seeking the newest varieties to offer you a varied selection for your landscaping or garden center needs.

1. Propagation Technician and Sales: Help manage propagation including sticking cuttings and managing propagation greenhouses. Assist with helping customers and small orders of plants when needed. Work at our booth at the NC Farmers Market during the Spring and Fall. Qualifications: Courteous and Friendly, Good Customer Service skills; Detail oriented; Follows directions well; some basic plant knowledge preferred but not required; willing to learn.

2. Nursery Field Tech: Duties include pulling plant orders, verifying and loading orders, and assisting customers. Would also be assisting with Nursery production which would include potting, spacing, pruning, and fertilizing plants. Qualifications: Be able to drive a tractor and pull a trailer; Courteous and friendly; good customer service skills; Detail oriented; some basic plant knowledge preferred but not required; enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Good afternoon! We have had many calls about when we are coming to the Farmer's Market. As of right now we are not sure when we are headed up there. Therefore for the time being we will be accepting retail customers at the Nursery. Our business policies have changed for the time being and we are not allowing anyone in the office. Please knock on the door and someone will assist you. Please keep in mind that we are concerned about our employees and their safety so please do not use this as a family outing. Please be respectful, stay at least 6 ft away and have some idea of what you want when you get here. We ask that all children remain in the car. This is for your safety as well as our staffs. I apologize for any inconvenience.
