A few before and afters from a day of organizing!

I love that my best friend is on the same page as I am for starting a New Year out in an organized space. I was lucky enough to get to do this for her around the same time last year. This year we tackled some new areas and touched up a few from before. Here’s to a great 2023!

I had the most enjoyable 3 hours with a new client the other day! She did a lot of work behind the scenes on going through papers and other items and purging a ton. Her goal was to get her table cleared off and to have it stay that way so that is picture set #1. Set #2 is where I made a rookie mistake and forgot to take a picture of the “before” countertop. I think she was still pretty pleased with the “after” though! I have a tote full of organizing supplies that can be purchased if it fits your space as well. The hanging file folders were an item I had and the black tray was something she already had on hand. Set #3 and #4 was something we quickly went through in about 20 minutes. She was able to toss items she didn’t need and I was able to pair like items together. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks to continue the process!!

This project took 3 hours from start to finish. Here’s a layout of what this process looked like. The first picture is the before and after side by side. The second picture is the before by itself and the third is the stuff I pulled out to donate or toss. The fourth picture is after one hour in and the last picture is the final result.

I’m so excited I got hired to organize a closet! She had started the process by pulling everything out as shown in the second picture. This whole project only took an hour and she had quite a pile of items to part with as seen in the fourth picture. And the best part is I’ll haul it all away for you! The sunshine and not so freezing temperatures finally got me wanting to start Spring Cleaning! This was a quick project, but I was able to clear out a few things and freshen it up.

Merry Christmas to me! I was overwhelmed by all of the puzzles, games, and craft supplies in different areas of the house so this brought me so much joy to get it all in one spot! I couldn’t even wait until I take my Christmas tree down so that I can get it in the corner 🤣 And my four year old daughter even had fun helping me organize it all.
