Jim was born in Bristol, Connecticut and moved to Long Island 11 years later, staying there for 11 years. He earned his Mechanical Engineering degree and ran his own remodeling company on Long Island before moving to Florida.

With a heavy heart, we are sorry to inform you that James A Macholz passed away on June 9, 2023. James was president / owner of Jamco, Unlimited, Inc. and Blue Ridge Kitchen and Bath. The decision has been made to close both businesses.
Jim's son, Tyler Macholz, has opened his own nonaffiliated business Second Generation Contracting LLC. At the present time, he will be able to do handyman work and sell wholesale retail. In the near future, he will finalize getting his general contractor license. We will update the future plans of Second Generation Contracting LLC when everything is finalized. Tyler Macholz just completed this outdoor oasis for our customer in Safety Harbor. We converted his house to all natural gas appliances and a fireplace. This is Jamco’s 4 th project at this property we remodeled both bathrooms the kitchen and now this beautiful addition! Thank you Duggan Jacobs for trusting Jamco!!!! And thanks to Tyler on another beautiful job!

On this night...20 years ago, 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning tomorrow. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them saw past 10:00 am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.
