Overall Design & Structure
This is a symmetrical, large-scale custom entertainment center featuring a crisp white finish contrasted by warm, natural wood accents. The unit is cleanly integrated with the surrounding wall, complete with professional baseboard integration and a substantial crown molding header that spans across the top.
Central Feature Wall
Accent Backing: The center section features a floor-to-ceiling style vertical wood slat accent wall. The thin, dark wood slats are set against a black background, adding texture and contemporary visual interest.
Media Display: A large flat-screen TV is flush-mounted directly onto the wood slat paneling.
Fireplace Console: Beneath the TV sits a long, linear electric fireplace insert embedded into the lower white console section. The fireplace displays a realistic flame effect over a faux log/ember bed, providing a warm, modern ambiance.
Flanking Cabinetry & Shelving
The central TV and fireplace area is flanked on both sides by matching custom storage towers:
Upper Open Shelving: Each side features three thick, floating-style wood shelves. The warm, rich wood grain of these shelves matches the natural tones of the central slat wall.
Integrated Lighting: The shelving bays are illuminated with flush-mounted LED puck lights installed in the top headers and under the shelves, creating a bright, highlighted display area. Three additional accent lights are integrated into the header above the central TV section.
Lower Storage Cabinets: The base of each tower consists of a two-door cabinet with classic Shaker-style doors and sleek, matte black vertical handles.
The entire unit seamlessly balances functional storage, integrated electronics, and modern architectural woodwork.
